Beer Adventures creates unrivalled beer experiences by working in parallel with local suppliers/bars/breweries in order to put on events/tours that are really special and we’re always on the lookout for the right people to get involved and become our next kick-ass event hosts.
We’re currently on the hunt for absolute beer rock stars in most major UK & European cities so get in touch if the below sounds like you:
Who we’re looking for:
Do you love good beer? Have a great knowledge of your city and the best places to find the latest brews? Love meeting new people and chatting to them about all the amazing things to do in your area? If this sounds like you then we want to chat with you about becoming a paid Beer Adventures Event Host.
As an Event Host you’ll be looking to share the best your city has to offer to tourists and locals, from Brewery Taps to bars, food markets and hidden gems. You’ll have a knowledge of local history and underground culture, as well as being well connected within the beer scene, both in your area and across the industry. You have great connections with producers and vendors and a passion for all things beery.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in breweries and local bar scene would be great, but is not essential. Above all else you are passionate about the beer industry and your city and are keen to share the best of it.
Flexibility: This role is ideal in addition to your full time/other part time work and is a great way to earn some extra money. There is great flexibility to work as often as you like, when you like.
Ability to work independently: You’ll be proactive and aim to work autonomously, designing your own tours and events alongside Beer Adventures HQ.
Languages: English (native level) both spoken and written. Other European languages desirable but by no means essential.
Networker: You’re well connected! You know what’s new, what’s coming up and where the best places are to visit. You’re great with people and feel confident chatting to anyone.
Creativity: Want to host a beer tasting in a secret location – do it! Organising an exclusive beer swap with a US friend – sorted! Want to convince a top brewery to open their doors for an exclusive event – go for it! This role is for a fun and creative individual, who is constantly pushing boundaries to bring guests the best experiences in beer.
